Jabe was born in 1976 at Les Abymes, in Guadeloupe (French West Indies), and spent his childhood there, until 16. Then he left for Paris for studying Art. That’s when he became fond of painting. His first exhibition took place in Cologne (Germany), he was only 18 when he came back in Paris, Jabe decided to focus on makeup and spent 2 years at Shu Uemura Cosmetics, where he learned the basics. In 1998, he started to work freelance. his work was seen in various magazines such as Vogue.it, Vogue Gioiello, Vogue Accessory, Vogue Sposa, Vogue Spain, L’Offciel Paris, Glamour Russian, Glamour Italy, Vanity Fair

In 2011, he created the makeup for the last 5 episodes of America’s Next Top Model-Cycle 16 (Bankable Productions). In 2013, Jabe began a new career as Creative Director for several magazines, cosmetics brands and he created an international avant-garde beauty magazine, called OOB Magazine which is sold worldwide. In 2016, he started a TV show as a Beauty Expert for Elle Girl TV - Lagardere Group, launched in January 2017 (season 1 and season 2).
In 2017, Jabe achieved one of his greatest dreams by drawing a complete line of t-shirts. This collection that is a reflection of his travels and a mix of cultures, with a touch of urban mood.
