N&S GAIA, represented by Sidharth Sinha, is a contemporary womenswear label based in new Delhi. the brand started its journey in 2013 with r&d on textiles and crafts from a remote village of north east India. over the years they have been able to contribute to the successful re-birth of the craft “dakmanda” a hand weaving embroidery technique of garo tribe in north east India. The brand N&S GAIA means nature & sustainability with revered guidance of mother nature, inceptor and creator – Gaia, the primal Greek goddess.  

Besides exploring up-cycling and sustainable fabrics their approach is simple “less is more”, keeping in the mind the environmental impact and continuously searching for unexplored crafts and techniques that they have often gone on to implement in to our collections. As a brand we believe in conscious fashion. 

They try their best to use sustainable hand-woven textiles blended with mill woven fabric in the hopes of producing a sustainable future. while being in constant touch with our roots we are driven towards western sensibilities and committed to research and development in the areas of natural dyeing and crafts of north east India. 

Designer
Sidharth Sinha, a NIFT New Delhi alumnus, heads N&S GAIA as the Creative Director. He has worked for Gaurav Gupta, Kavita Bhartia, designed costume for Feisal Alkazi's production plays in India and the USA. Through his working with the textiles, crafts, and craftsmen of the North East India, he plans to give the region a much needed textiles revival.
