Inspiration
The PERTEGAZ house embarks on a journey to 1970s Capri, a realm infused with Jackie Kennedy's chic elegance and the retro vibe of Slim Aarons' photography. It's an era where summer leisure gives rise to a way of understanding fashion, seamlessly blending comfort and glamour. The effortless looks of Marella Agnelli strolling by the harbor converses with the sophistication of Lee Radziwill wandering the streets on a summer night. The allure of seaside soirées at opulent villas and lingering conversations at La Campania serves as a wellspring of inspiration, echoing the Mediterranean essence of Manuel Pertegaz and the global identity of the brand.
Lines, Color, and Fabrics.
The seventies focus is evident both in the ample silhouettes and the incorporation of key elements from the decade: the alluring halter neckline, flare pants, and jumpsuits. In this vacation universe, kaftans and pajamas accompany bermuda shorts, knit tops, capri pants, and flowing skirts.
The quintessential Pertegaz essence seamlessly converges within the collection, manifested through a reimagining of its timeless volumes and revitalized classics. Notably, the heritage of the house is showcased through the art of tailoring, visible in the meticulously crafted structured jackets featuring refined patterns that exude a renewed sense of summer elegance.
Prints are key in the proposals for the new season, characterized by retro nuances and psychedelic vibes. Pertegaz's colorful vision is captured in geometric patterns, floral compositions, and animal print jacquards.
The color palette comprises vibrant tones like seaweed green and deep blue, as well as more romantic shades such as peach, pale pink, and the realm of lilacs and violets.
Pertegaz's summery approach is materialized through poplin, linen, or twill, along with a delicate selection of knitwear. The most sophisticated designs are crafted in silk, creppe, or jacquard, with meticulous attention to details like matching feathers or interior pink trims – hallmarks of the house.
