For 25 years, the name Peter Langner has been synonymous with excellence, imagination, and refinement.

THE DESIGNER

At the young age of twenty-four Peter Langner left his home in Hanover Germany to attend school in Paris at the world renowned Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale to follow his passion to become a great couturier.

Completing his studies with distinction, he went directly to work and learn from the masters at the famous design houses of Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro, Guy LaRoche and Christian Lacroix. In 1991, Peter Langner opened his own workroom in Rome.

With the movement of fashion, Peter opened a showroom in Milan and by 2015; He had moved his headquarters and workroom to Milan as well.

Every dress designed, sewn and beaded in the workroom in Milan uses the most exceptional fabrics from Italy and France as well as the finest crystals. Each cutter, seamstress and embroider are asked daily to stretch their skills to push forward into a new dimension. The team daily attempts new forms of fabric manipulation or even creating their own sequins; a continuous search for something new, to go beyond the conventional. In doing so, Peter Langner’s artisans never relinquish the goal of perfection or abandon their commitment to the highest quality.

NEW COLLECTION

An evening storm is the inspiration of the color palette of the Spring Summer 2019 collection by Peter Langner. Dark shades of grey and blue mixed with softer nudes which hide and reveal the colors of a bright reddish sunset. Despite strong and defined tones the mood of the collection is extremely refined and elegant. Light and fluid fabrics like - Silk shantung, crepe candy, silk organza - in the skilled hands of the couture workroom of Peter Langner become feminine and sophisticated dresses. Delicate embroideries and sequins, exquisite tailoring details do not dominate but emphasize the identity of each gown. Feminine, fragile, attractive; these are the perfect words to describe the Peter Langner Woman. Necklines are generously deep and silhouettes are sensual still preserving architectural cuts and unexpected overlaying of fabrics and embroideries.
