One night in Vienna is SARAH BOND’s first foray into glamorous evening wear, responding to the high demand from her client base with a beautiful capsule collection that evokes unforgettable memories.

SARAH BOND draws on the opulent city of Vienna for inspiration. Vienna holds a special place in the designer’s heart, sharing memories of deep friendship and personal stories.

The designer explores the expressive arts, ranging from the classic to the modern, in full harmony with the brand’s DNA.

Inspiration is found within the operatic notes of Franz Von Suppé, merged with the exquisite craftsmanship of silversmith to the royals, Carl Vaugoin, leading on to modern art through the works of Gustav Klimt, Soshana Afroyim, Christian Attersee and Valie, where bursts of colour and existential themes are explored, leading to the celebration of life, love and friendship.

THE BRAND

SARAH BOND is an inter-seasonal Work Play Luxury womenswear brand for the modern woman. Her bespoke ready-to-wear garments perform gender with a style that is at once both familiar and innovative, working sensually yet in powerful harmony with the female form.

Sarah honed her craft at Katherine Hamnett, Roland Mouret and Savile Row tailor Chris Flourentzou, where she developed a deep respect for sartorial menswear techniques.

Using high quality silks and techno textiles, she draws on her diverse cultural experience to design digital prints from scratch. The clean lines, bold statement pieces, and colour blocking of her modern aesthetic are steeped in the richness of her inimitable tailoring.

From initial concept to final product, Sarah values the importance of maintaining British workmanship. She works with local manufacturers to ensure optimal quality control. She believes it is important for brands to be accountable when it comes to sustainability.
