THE BRAND

After launching his label in 2010 with the Red Carpet line, featuring an elegant, sensual and feminine couture range, Uel Camilo – young and talented Brazilian designer – reintroduces his prêt-à-porter collection from Spring/Summer 2018.
 
This is a refined and tasteful, sophisticated yet sensual and feminine collection that retains some of the key features of the designer’s haute couture line, but that is also able to interpret them for a unique ready to wear range that boasts unprecedented taste.
 
Classic, strict lines are dictated by rational geometric overlays, which are however combined with a very feminine mood interpreted through precious, feather-light silk tulle and crystal-rich embroideries, creating eye-catching light games on surfaces.
 
The new prêt-à-porter collection for Fall/Winter 2018 by Uel Camilo includes around 70 pieces, split between evening gowns (mostly in the "Atelier" part) and other utilitarian categories, such as embroidered coats and outerwear, shirts, jersey and woven dresses, always enriched by details and made in Italy in the most preminent factories by craftsmen and craftswomen and specialised tailors, and will be distributed through different targeted channels: the collection will be on sale at the Uel Camilo showroom in Milan (in Passaggio degli Osii, 2) and in Paris at an exclusive showroom in 9, Avenue Hoche.
 
Uel Camilo’s three-year development plan provides for consolidation on the Italian market and a move on foreign markets with the opening of many Prêt-à-Porter and Red Carpet shops, with a specific focus on the US, the Middle East, and China.
